You hear people say that women are confident, empowered, from Venus. Not all of them are. Some are strong-willed; others are intelligent. Some are shy; others are athletic. Some have changed the world; others have changed their world.
Yet, through our individual, unique stories, we relate to each other. That we are women means we are a collective. That we are different means we are powerful.
Through the lens of photographer Farras Oran, the stories of inspiring women are transformed into living works of art. Together, we take an insightful and real journey into each woman’s ambition, challenges and successes.

Lara Nabulsi
Symbolizing the generous soul, Lara Nabulsi knew that the best thing she could give her four children is a role model. By paving the way to self-fulfillment, she gives them and others around her the permission to also be the best versions of themselves.
Lara believes that hard work, knowledge and being true to yourself are the ingredients for a fulfilling life. Together with her sister Saria, they founded Ramz; a fashion brand that brings to life her passion for both design and serving her community.

Saria Nabulsi
Symbolizing the curious entrepreneur, Saria Nabulsi is a master of many trades, continuously evolving and exploring diverse projects. Among these projects is the founding of Ramz along with her sister Lara. Ramz is a fashion brand that offers practical and ethically produced items while symbolizing the best of Jordan’s traditional spirit.

About Ramz
The Nabulsi sisters set to revive the Jordanian heritage and expand its influence; the result was Ramz. By collaborating with women across our community, Ramz incorporates traditional embroidery with modern wardrobe. It is also simultaneously transforming the fashion world, contributing ethically, sustainably and slowly made products.
Every item produced by Ramz is hand embroidered, and the hand-dyed pieces are made from organic pigments extracted from Jordan’s native plants. From one hand to another, Ramz symbolizes the human (and local) touch, passion and heritage.
